XMAS / LIZARD

Went to the Christmas Paegant on Saturday and it was great to see, though a litle surreal seeing Santa with the sun shining! Rheanne's picture was in the Sunday Mail, her little face in the crowd, so that was a nice surprise. We were further back, the picture above was actually taken by a guy standing closer to the action, plus he was about 6" taller than me....in fact he took all 34 of our pictures, so a big thank you to him :-)


Well, we finally saw our first lizard today. It was a couple of hundred yards down the road from our house on the grass verge. It was about 8-10" long and Rheanne and Ryan bravely posed for this photo......
OK, OK it was dead, they weren't that brave. Ryan poked it a couple of times with a stick though, just to make sure!

Top picture was taken on Glenelg Jetty yesterday. Above picture of Ryan & Rheanne was taken earlier in the day at Cleland Wildlife Park. Their new friend was called DOT!

LEAVING PARTY

Our leaving party is

booked for the 30th June,

and we are preparing

ourselves for more tears

or maybe that will be

'cheers' in some cases!

Rheanne is going to do a

couple of her dances,

so hopefully that will

cheer everyone up and

put a smile on their faces.

HOUSE SOLD

Well, the house has SOLD. Thats another stressful period ended, don't know if I can take much more of this! We have to be out by the 12th of July, so not long to go now. We are still planning on leaving mid August but it all depends on a few things. Will be staying with my mum & dad before we go, so they will probably be glad to see the back of us after having an extra 4-bodies in their 2-bedroom flat!

VISA GRANTED....YESSSSSSSSS!

Switched on e-mail Saturday night, couldn't believe it when I saw an e-mail from our agent saying our VISA'S HAD BEEN GRANTED. Apparently the e-mail was sent Saturday morning but never ever expected to see it on a Saturday. Looks like the Oz government is really busy and has to work weekends to process all the applications. House going on market this week, fingers crossed it sells quick and off we go. Anyone interested?
